It was only a matter of time before the Vid Neg crew got to grips with one of cinema's stinkiest, the infamous Super Mario Bros: The Movie. Anger is always the order of the day on this show, but hoo boy, do the gang get riled up in this one. Their live tweeting was only a taste of things to come. Just what is this film? Why did the filmmakers turn one of the most beloved franchises into some weird Mad Max/David Lynch fever dream? What's with the portrayal of plumbing as some sort of action-packed, danger-filled endeavour? And why is this film nothing like the game? Fuck it, the hosts get seriously pissed off in this one.
