Episode 30 - Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie

Requested by Brett Millen and the Wrestling Rewind Podcast, the Vid Neg crew sit down to review 1995's piss poor Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie. Firmly in the "nostalgia buster" category, any good memories of the classic TV show are dashed by 97 minutes of repetitive action, dull characters and shapeless plotting. What's with all the backflips? Why do the Rangers drag their heels when time is so clearly of the essence? And does walking off a ledge really constitute falling to your doom? All the hard-hitting questions answered in this mighty, morphin' episode!

Episode 29 - Barb Wire

The latest episode sees Video Negative take on Pamela Anderson's double D dud Barb Wire. After the semi-enjoyment of Kazaam, the gang are back in familiar territory with this one. Across the board in awfulness, this Casablanca clone gets wrapped up in uniformly terrible performances, exposition out the wazoo and a deceptively complicated story. Why is everything blue? Why does everything have to explained? How come even the antagonist sucks? Plus, the worst cinematic fist bump caught on film and three of the unlikeliest inductees into the Vid Neg Hall of Fame. Episode 28 - Kazaam

Video Negative's first request episode of the new year sees them take on Shaq's second film Kazaam! Unprepared to watch the film alone, the gang view the film together and then give you their red hot take on this foul up of a film. Why does everyone scream in this film? What's with people falling from great heights and surviving? Does pizza make up for years of absenteeism, and what the hell is the deal with the cassette tape? Confused, unintelligible, needlessly complicated (and that's just our leading man), a hitherto unfounded love for Shaq does blossom through the episode however, so be sure to listen in! 

Episode 27 - The Bonfire of The Vanities

New year, new Neg! The crew are back with their long awaited [citation needed] re-recording of Brian De Palma's complete misfire of a film The Bonfire of the Vanities. What happens when you take one of the fieriest, most acerbic and satirical novels an completely de-fang it? What happens when you cast Tom Hanks, one of Hollywood's most beloved faces as a total shit-heel? You get this film. Who cajoled Bruce Willis back into a recording booth? Plus, a run-down of Willis' most notorious on-set clashes. We fan the flames of everything in this one, so pull up a seat, pour a scotch and get toasty!

Episode 26 - Fifty Shades of Grey

The Vid Neg crew round off the year by whipping themselves into shape with the as-voted-for-by-you "Worst Film of 2015" Fifty Shades of Grey. It's another episode full of mass debating as Tim and Ol face off against Dan's noble (but pointless) defence of the film, as they take issue with the inane, tedious plot, woeful characterisation and lifeless sex scenes. Plenty of boner jams in this one, check it out before they return in the new year!

Episode 25 - Santa With Muscles

The gang are back to face an old foe in Video Negative's Christmas special! That's right, Hulk Ho-ho-hogan is back with his appalling Crimbo vehicle Santa With Muscles! Plenty of yuletide yuks in this one. Also: The Hogan teat has been milked dry, so Tim puts Dan to the test with a true or false quiz about some of wrestling's weirdest and wackiest and sexual assaultiest (?) incidents ever.
